To emphasize the central design idea, Kasper Friis Egelund decided to combine soft organic shapes of sand-cast, polished aluminum with the rough, dark stone, which is not just a pedestal, but beautiful and perfectly present in itself. The plate and bowls are hand-polished and shiny, while the raw sand casting technique forms a beautiful contrast to the dark marble of the base.
